Question by bp: What to do when white smoke is coming out from the cool engine box?

I have a 1995 Toyota Camry Le, which is really messed up, i was driving 4 miles to go to class, and my car starts overheating. I put cold water in the cool engine box and after a while it white smoke starts coming out of the cool engine box. What does this mean and what should i do? There are no leaks or nothing just white smoke coming out, and tons of it.
