Drinking water debacle deals a blow to CDC and EPA
The federal Centers for Disease Control and Environmental Protection Agency have been too slow and too quiet about addressing the risks posed by lead in tap water. A new CDC study raises troubling questions about govenrment policies on lead pipes in millions of U.S. households.

Water main break shuts down service in parts of Oaklawn
WICHITA รข" A water main break in Oaklawn late this afternoon has caused about 75 residents in that area to lose service, Wichita's public works department reported.
